About & Press Credentials
Bio
I’m Emanuela, a professional photographer since 2012, currently based in Italy. I trained in Visual Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, even though my real education—like for many—happened on the ground.
What began as a thesis project in Uganda turned into a six-year journey documenting community life and developing reportage projects across the country. That experience—being deep into real stories, in real places—completely reshaped my DNA and style as a photographer.
When I later joined a local promoter of international events as lead photographer, I brought that same documentary instinct to international music stages. Whether it’s a dusty street or the biggest arenas in the Afrobeat scene, my approach doesn’t change: I’m there to document, not to decorate.
14 years in, the goal is still the same: tell the story as it happens.
Organizations I collaborated with with: Farnesina (Italian embassy UG), German Embassy UG, Talent Africa Group (covering various international artists such as Wizkid, Ne-Yo, Tiwa Savage and more as well as FC Barcelona and other corporate event), Saatchi and Saatchi UG, AVSI, Meeting Point Kitgum, Circolo Magnolia Milano and more. Highlights below.

Tailored for the rapid pace of modern live music production. Providing tour managers, record labels, and PR agencies with high-impact, press-ready visual assets engineered for immediate rollout.
Working in high-pressure arena environments requires a balance between absolute visual discretion on stage and rapid editorial delivery off stage. Every assignment is handled with press-ready rigor—delivering curated, color-graded visual selects within hours of show completion to meet tight media deadlines, tour PR requirements, and digital archive rollouts. Whether embedded with an international tour production or covering key European dates on press assignment, the approach remains strictly documentarian: capturing authentic backstage tension, mainstage production dynamics and visceral crowd reactions
